Logann Haworth, LMFT
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Logann (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 148737). Logann utilizes evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure response prevention (ERP), Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), and attachment theory in her work with children, teens, and their families. She uses exposure response prevention (ERP) to help children and teens with OCD, anxiety, and/or phobias that interfere with their well-being. She utilizes CBT, SPACE, and attachment theory to support clients with anxiety, mild depression, adjustment disorders, and other life transitions or stressors. She aims to create a safe space for clients to explore and express their emotions by taking a strengths-based, relational, collaborative, warm, and personalized approach.
Prior to joining the PRACTICE team, Logann worked at Lattice Educational Services, a school for children with developmental disabilities, where she learned applied behavior analysis (ABA), which included implementing a behavioral system catered to each child's individual needs. She then worked as a relief counselor at Edgewood Center for Children and Families, where she supported each client to meet their personal goals by reinforcing coping skills and assisting clients with their social and emotional needs. Logann completed additional training with the Youth Service Bureaus- the Y, where she worked with elementary and middle school-aged students in a school counseling setting.
Logann is a graduate of the University of San Francisco with a Master's in Counseling Psychology – Marriage and Family Therapy. She received her B.A. in Psychology from Sonoma State University. Logann lives in Mill Valley but works in both the San Francisco and Mill Valley offices. In her free time, she enjoys going to yoga, going on walks with her dog, trying new recipes in the kitchen, and spending time with loved ones.
